LYNN – Sarah Russo wasn?t supposed to come in for a shift at the Four Winds Pub & Grill on Saturday. But having spent her Friday night listening to Kenny Chesney at Gillette Stadium, she decided to take the four-hour shift she?d been offered for the following day.But she had no idea she?d be the one serving one of the world?s funniest actresses in the United States. When Melissa McCarthy strolled into the restaurant with two of her friends, Russo just happened to be the server out front who greeted them. Having told McCarthy and her friends that they could sit wherever they liked, Russo was soon on her way to deliver drink menus and take orders.McCarthy, who was in the Boston area to film the remake of the movie “Ghostbusters,” said she?d heard about the Four Winds from a Yelp review.?I was freaking out because she looked amazing,” Russo said. “The minute she started talking, I was like, ?Oh my God, that sounds like her.??I asked some of the other servers if it looked like it was her, and they casually strolled by and came back to me in agreement. It was surreal,” Russo said.?I kept apologizing,” Russo laughed. “They asked me what we had on tap, and I was stuttering. You know, I love her, I think she?s amazing, and I was a little starstruck, but, at the same time, I was trying to act as normal as I could.”When asked what McCarthy ordered, Russo was quick to answer, saying she definitely remembered.?She had a Blue Moon and a shrimp po?boy with onion rings.”Playing coy with some male customers, Russo and a fellow server were asked what was “going on” with that table, and being courteous of McCarthy?s privacy, Russo said, “I have no idea what you?re talking about.”At the end of McCarthy?s lunch, her presence was revealed in excitement.Of course, Russo had to ask if there was any way she could get a picture. She was prepared for a “no” from the actress, but instead said that McCarthy smiled at her and responded kindly.?I asked her if she would mind coming into the kitchen to take a picture with the staff, and she said, ?Oh, absolutely!? It was just so cool.”
