A report of debris in the roadway at 2:35 p.m. Thursday at Willow Cemetery on Summer Street. A caller reported several hypodermic needles and syringes on the side of the road. An officer was unable to locate.
A report of suspicious activity at 11:33 a.m. Friday at 6 Edgemere Road. A female caller reported she received a call from someone who reported they are from State Police, reporting her husband’s name is on a “firearm’s lit.” They wanted to know if there were any firearms in the residence. She stated they have also inquired with State Police about this call and they are investigating the call.
A report of a suspicious person at 5:10 p.m. Friday at Village Pharmacy at 590 Main St. A caller reported a man she did not know walked up to her when she left the pharmacy and started yelling and swearing at her. She said he was in his 50’s, had dark hair and was wearing a flannel shirt and jeans.

Arrests
Emmett Charles Leahy, 20, of 26 Franklin St., was arrested and charged with four counts of motor vehicle breaking and entering, resisting arrest and on four warrants at 8:36 p.m. Saturday.

Breaking and Entering
A report of multiple car breaks at 7:02 p.m. Saturday in the vicinity of Doaks Lane. A woman was walking her dog and saw a white male opening the car door in front of 19 Doaks Lane. She knows the family and was going to say “hi” but realized it was not a family member. She said the male then walked towards Front Street opening the door to a green Toyota SUV on the way. Police spoke with a family member who said the suspect, Emmett Leahy was most recently living in Chelsea House in Lynn as part of Drug Court. He recently walked away from that program. The family member believes Leahy will be on drugs and said pot, speed, alcohol, LSD and mushrooms are his drugs of choice, but does not feel he would be violent. Leahy was arrested on motor vehicle breaking and entering, resisting arrest and on warrants.

A report of a building egged at 12:41 p.m. Saturday in the vicinity of Washington Street. An employee from the store called and stated that the business was egged overnight. She wanted it logged as she heard from friends and other business owners that someone was egging houses last week.
A report of a car egged at 11:12 p.m. Friday on Washington Street. A caller reported kids in a white Jeep Liberty just egged a car as it was parallel parking in front of the Barrelman. She reported the Jeep was speeding and nearly struck the car they egged. The Jeep sped up Washington Street towards Abbot Hall after egging the car. She did not get the plate and said there was one person in the front seat and several in the rear seat. An officer had a conversation with the passenger of the motor vehicle, who was heading to the check-out counter with a carton of eggs. The kids have been advised to cease the egg throwing.
NAHANT

William J. Roselli, 46, of 6 Charles Henry Way, Seabrook, NH, was arrested and charged with motor vehicle lights violation and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license subsequent offense at 1:07 a.m. Saturday.
Walter Velasquez, 20, of 76 Central Ave., Revere, was arrested and charged with stop sign and possession of liquor by a person under 21 at 6:59 p.m. Thursday.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 5:08 p.m. Thursday at Nahant Rotary on Causeway.
Complaints
A report of an animal complaint at 10:31 a.m. Friday at Johnson Elementary School at 290 Castle Road. A caller has taken it upon himself to clean up the dog poop along the fence of the Johnson School. He feels it is a health hazard to the children of the school and he has to make a statement to the people who do not pick up after their dogs. He filled 11 bags and hung them on the fence for all the see. He purchased a steel covered barrel which he placed in front of the Nahant Market with permission from the store manager. The barrel is for the disposal of the bags of poop and for any other disposal of bags by dog owners in the area. Animal Control was advised. A notice has been posted on the town website reminding dog owners to pick up after their dogs or a fine will be issued.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 3:44 p.m. Friday at 93 Willow Road. A walk-in reported her credit card was hacked and used without authority. She brought a copy of unauthorized charges made and has notified her bank of the same.

A report of a breaking and entering at 12:26 a.m. Sunday at 12 Tuckers Court. Parties arrived home to find the house in disarray, christmas lights around the window disturbed or moved and the television on the ground.

A report of suspicious activity at 10:06 p.m. Friday in the vicinity of Centerfield on Trask Road. A caller reported that an unknown group has been throwing eggs at houses and cars in the Centerfield area. Officers could not locate anyone.

A report of a DPW callout at 8:52 a.m. Saturday in the vicinity of 2 Florence Road and 38 Lynnfield St. A caller reported a dog hit and someone put a towel over it. An officer reported it was a raccoon.
A report of a neighborhood dispute at 5:42 p.m. Saturday in the vicinity of 23 Batchelder Ave. A caller reported her motor vehicle was struck by a ball from the kids playing in the street. She feels her vehicle may have been damaged. An officer stated that a small Nerf ball hit the car and there was no damage. The resident then complained about the kids impeding traffic and they were not.
