The Lynn Woods races continued on a cool Wednesday night, with 277 runners finishing across three races.
In the 1.59-mile kids race, Lynn’s Grant Floyd (13 minutes, 31 seconds) paced the group of 30 finishers. Nahant’s Lucy Brown (14:22) edged out Beverly’s Kate Kelsey (14:24) for second place. Lynn’s Trent Brown (15:06), Swampscott’s Matthew Fukuda (15:12), Lynn’s Emily Terrien (15:16), Beverly’s Tobey Archibald (16:28), Lynn’s Abigail Morris, Swampscott’s Tyler Fukuda (17:36) and Lynn’s Christopher Kelley (17:36) rounded out the top 10.
In the shorter, 2.8-mile race, Lynn’s Scott Brown blew away the competition, finishing in 15:37. Lynn’s Brandon Mendez-Lopez (19:05), Winthrop’s Warren MacPhail (19:37), Lynn’s Colin Harvey (19:42) and Saugus’ Steven Bennett (19:43) also finished in the top five.
Peabody’s Brittani Atkinson paced the women in the short race (22:10), followed by Peabody’s Andrea Saccardo (23:06), Lynn’s Miki Divirgilio (23:34), Rowley’s Erin McGrath (25:12) and Beverly’s Jenn O’Neil (25:53).
In the “Tour de Lynn Woods,” a 5.6-mile course, Woburn’s Chris Smith (37:07) led the way for the men, followed by Lynn’s Nakri Dao (37:12), Salem’s William Jackson (37:40), Boxford’s Jeff Hixon (37:43) and Merrimac’s Greg Whyman (38:00).
Salem’s Maura O’Day led the women (42:07), with Beverly’s Hannah Forman (42:39), Peabody’s Lai-Sahn Hackett (44:52), Lynn’s Allison Runyan (48:41) and Saugus’ Ashley Deacetis (49:17) rounding out the top five.
