Arrests

Greisy Batista, 27, of 131 Ocean St., was arrested and charged with drug possession to distribute, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and conspiracy to violate the drug law at 11:54 a.m. Monday.

Leanne Borges, 31, of 12 Quincy Terrace, was arrested and charged with shoplifting concealing merchandise more than $100 at 5:49 p.m. Sunday.

Alexander Kratzer, 26, of 6 Britton Road, Peabody, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and conspiracy to violate the drug law at 12:10 p.m. Monday.

Theresa Seals, of 498 Essex St., was arrested on warrant charges of aiding a convict to escape and assault and battery at 10:31 a.m. Monday.

Mia Shindell, 44, of 9 Wirthmore Lane, Lynnfield, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug at 2 p.m. Monday.

Michael Turner, 46, of 119 Lewis St., was arrested and charged with conspiracy to violate the drug law and disorderly conduct at 12:24 p.m. Monday.

MARBLEHEAD

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run accident at 12:36 p.m. Sunday on Washington Street.

Complaints

A report of a volatile neighbor at 11:49 a.m. Sunday on Tedesco Street. A caller reported a neighbor of hers is volatile by swearing very loudly in his garage. She stated that he does this quite frequently and yells it so loud that all of the neighbors can hear him.

A report of marijuana at 1:23 p.m. Sunday at Lafayette and Maple streets. A caller reported witnessing a “young female driver with glasses stuffing a bowl of marijuana and was about to smoke it.” An officer was unable to locate.

A report of a floral cart in the road at 2:47 p.m. Sunday on Washington Street. The vehicle was tagged and moved.


PEABODY

Arrest

Ryan Castle, 22, of 42 Catherine Drive, was arrested on warrants at 8:55 p.m. Sunday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 8:46 p.m. Sunday at 91 Lynn St. and 2 County St.; at 10:27 a.m. Monday at 63 Central St. and 2 Tremont St.

A report of a pedestrian hit by a motor vehicle at 7:30 a.m. Monday at 5 Aborn St. and 56 Washington St. A child was hit on a bike. The juvenile was transported to Beverly Hospital.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run accident at 12:31 p.m. Monday at Tannery Two at 12 Crowninshield St.

Complaints

A report of a well-being check at 5:42 p.m. Sunday at 12 Eastman Park. A woman reported she has not heard from her mother and is concerned for her well-being. An officer spoke with the mother who said her cell phone battery had died, will charge it and call her daughter.

A report of a large raccoon living in a tree at 9:41 a.m. Monday at 27 Willowbrae Drive.

A report of a nest of baby bunnies at 9:51 a.m. Monday at 6 Meredith Road. The caller was advised to put the rabbits back where she found them and call Mass Wildlife.

A report of a lost cat at 10 a.m. Monday at 35 Oak Ave. A caller reported Milo, her 7-year-old, neutered, 13 pound, gold/black spotted male Savannah cat was last seen in the area of Oak Avenue on Friday.

A report of a traffic hazard at 1:16 p.m. Monday at 35 Tremont St. and 84 Wallis St. An officer reported a partially opened trench in the street with pylons blocking vehicles from driving into it. An officer reported the street is down to one lane. The trench belongs to the Water Department and they must respond to repair the trench or the road will be reduced to one lane.

Overdose

A report of an overdose at 2:51 p.m. Sunday on Swampscott Avenue. A man was transported to Salem Hospital; at 5:36 p.m. Sunday on Catherine Drive. A man was transported to Lahey North.

Theft

A report of a larceny at 5:11 p.m. Sunday at 170 Lynn St.


REVERE

Arrests

Joseph A. Amoroso, 33, of 124 Central Ave., Apt. 44, Lynn, was arrested and charged with larceny from a building at 5:43 p.m. Friday.

Arthur Demasi, 24, of 15 Franklin St., Apt. 1, Malden, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, failure to stop for police, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and resisting arrest at 2:10 a.m. Saturday.

Charles Baltazar Mbuya, 26, of 906 North Shore Road, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise at 4:58 p.m. Saturday.

Paul A. Nestor, 42, homeless, was arrested on warrants at 11:12 p.m. Saturday.

Sophea Phoeng, 28, of 36 Lambert St., Apt. 3, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation at 5:51 p.m. Saturday.

Harwick A. Rivas, 38, of 22 Holton St., Apt. 2, Lawrence, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and threat to commit crime at 5:24 p.m. Saturday.

Arrest

Alessanda L. Costa, of 2 Saunders Road, Lynnfield, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation at 1:50 p.m. Sunday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run accident at 2:27 a.m. Saturday at McDonalds at 738 Broadway.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 3:17 p.m. Saturday at Square One Mall at 1277 Broadway; at 1:08 p.m. Sunday on Walnut Street; at 2:13 a.m. Monday at 172 Lynn Fells Parkway and 285 Main St. A caller reported a vehicle into a pole.

Complaints

A report of a disturbance at 8:05 p.m. Friday on Ballard Street. A caller reported a man on a dirtbike who may have entered the saltmarsh. An officer was unable to locate; at 12:51 a.m. Saturday on Gilway; at 8:31 p.m. Saturday at Kmart at 180 Main St. A caller reported two men fighting in the parking lot; at 9:19 p.m. Saturday at Roller World at 425 Broadway; at 9:23 p.m. Saturday at Avalon Motel at 1529 Broadway. A caller reported she was assaulted by another woman at the motel. She was transported to Melrose Wakefield Hospital; at 2:01 a.m. Sunday at Longwood Avenue and Lisa Lane.

A report of suspicious activity at 12:16 a.m. Saturday at 18 Central St. A caller reported a group of teenagers rang his door and ran.

A report of an injured cat stuck in the fence at 2:07 p.m. Saturday at 69 Essex St. Fire department removed the cat and took it to the animal hospital for evaluation.

Fire

A report of a fire at 2:30 a.m. Friday at 102 Central St. A caller reported hearing a popping sound and then smoke coming from the kitchen outlet. Three pieces of fire apparatus dispatched. Building was evacuated. Fire department reported a problem with the electrical cord, which was secured; at 12:28 p.m. Sunday at 3 Crimson Court. A caller reported smoke from the house. Fire department reported a delayed ignition and a boiler has been red tagged.

A report of an outside fire at 5:55 a.m. Friday at Garden World at 24 R Frank Bennett Highway. A caller reported a mulch fire outside; at 6:37 p.m. Friday at Atlantic Lobster at 60 Salem Turnpike. A caller reported a cardboard box smoking and may possibly be on fire by the old Atlantic Lobster. Engine 1 was dispatched and was unable to locate any boxes in or near the roadway.

A report of a Hazmat situation at 3:20 p.m. Saturday at Aggregate Industries at 1831 Broadway. A caller reported approximately 200 gallons of fuel was gone from the tank and is not leaking fuel, but there could be an issue underground. The fire captain reported a leak of fuel oil from an old fuel line, with an undetermined amount of product released.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run accident at 3:39 p.m. Sunday at Essex Street and Mall Access Road.

Breaking and Entering

A report of a breaking and entering at 11:51 a.m. Sunday at 74 Rockland St. A caller reported her adult live-in brother is entering her room and removing clothes and other items.
