REVERE — Mouad Nessassi was arrested Tuesday night on charges of impersonating a police officer and kidnapping.
Nessassi, 18, allegedly went to the door of someone he knew and told the person he was a police officer. Upon entry, the victim, a Revere resident, was assaulted and taken to the 7-Eleven on North Shore Road. The victim was forced to withdraw money from the store’s ATM, Revere Police Lt. Amy O’Hara said.
The victim’s name and amount of money withdrawn was not released.
Nessassi was charged with trespassing, armed assault to rob, impersonating a police officer and kidnapping for extortion.
