LYNN — Two of the four games in this week’s Massachusetts baseball tournament will be played at Fraser Field — one of them a state championship game.
In Division 2, under the current baseball alignment, there are no teams in central or western Massachusetts. As a result, Wednesday’s game (7) between Danvers and Dighton-Rehoboth, which defeated Stoughton, 5-1, Monday, will be for the championship.
The Falcons won the Division 2 North championship Saturday with a 9-4 win over Reading.
In Division 3, North Reading will go up against East Bridgewater at 4 p.m. at Fraser.
North Reading defeated Lynnfield Saturday, 5-1, in the Division 3 North championship while East Bridgewater handled Old Rochester, 4-2, Sunday in the Division 3 South final.
The winner will play Saturday at Holy Cross‘ Fitton Field for the championship.
The entire Division 1A tournament is being played at Campanelli Stadium in Brockton, as are the Divisions 1 and 4 state semifinals.All other state finals other than 1A will be played at Holy Cross.
