Ben Bowden was an East Lynn Little Leaguer well before he became a star at Lynn English and a national champion at Vanderbilt University.
Last week, he was chosen by the Colorado Rockies in the second round of the Major League Baseball draft, and 45th overall. He left Tuesday for Colorado to sign a contract, but before he did, he stopped to visit this year’s East Lynn All-Stars, and autographed a baseball for each of the players.
