There were several close games in Lynn Parks and Recreation basketball action Tuesday night.
In the closest one, John J. Walsh eked out a one-point win over Lynn Teachers Union, 33-22. Ly Rivera (16) and Roward Merriman (10) led the way for Walsh while Aneudy Bianco scored 14 for LTU.
At the middle school level, McGrath defeated North Shore Heating, 46-44. Ky’juan Anderson (18 points) was high scorer for McGrath while Rondell Brathwate had eight for North Shore.
In other action, General Contractors defeat Rob Irvine, Inc., 34-28, in the elementary division. Matthew Corillo led GC with 16 points while Waldy Slorencio had eight for Irvine.
In middle school action, Linwood Development defeated. Meninno Construction, 51-45. Osafu Idahor had 13 for Linwood while Ivan D’Olivaria had 12 for Meninno.
In the high school division, it was Old Mill Realty 101, John’s Oil 62, with Erik Solis pouring in 46 points for Old Mill and Abraham Diaz chipping in with 15. John McArdle had 17 for John’s. And in the night’s other game, Leahy Landscaping defeated ERC Products, 59-51. Tyler Williams had 13 points for ERC and Melvin Nieves had 14 for Leahy.
