Tori Adams had a big day on the mound, going the distance and giving up just two hits while striking out 11 batters.
On the offensive end, Alaina Gridley went 2-for-4 with two RBI and Meghan Leavitt went 1-for 2 with two walks and two RBI. Freshman Kiara Edmonds made an impact in her first career varsity game, going 2-for-3 with a walk in her debut.
The Rams (1-0) have a quick turnaround with a road game against Somerville this afternoon.

Sydney Cresta (3-for-5) had a double and three RBI on the day, while Casey Kennedy (2-for-2) and Leanne Nisbet (2-for-3) both had multi-hit games.
