Peabody’s Tianna Dawe was unhittable, literally, on Friday afternoon against Medford, leading her Tanners to a 2-0 win. Dawe’s no-hitter came with nine strikeouts and four walks in her seven innings of work, and coach Butch Melanphy was very happy with his ace’s performance.
“She was in complete control out there, she had everything working,” said Melanphy.
Kristina Rossingnoll added some offensive punch, going 2-for-3 with a single, a double and an RBI. Kaitlin Thibodeau-Cory also went 2-for-3, notching two singles.
The Tanners (3-4) will take on Somerville on Monday afternoon.

Steve Pappas’ double scored McCarthy to tie the game. Cole Gareventi was sent into pinch run for Pappas. He took third on a wild pitch and scored when Braden Haley’s comebacker to the mound was misplayed.
