State Police said a 6:40 a.m. accident on the General Edward Bridge has been cleared and commuter traffic snarled by the crash should be easing. Troopers did not have immediate information on the accident but the disrupted commute comes on the same day the Lynn-to-Boston ferry returns to provide an alternative transportation option for commuters.
