LYNN — Power has been restored to the neighborhood on the Peabody line after a tree fell and shattered four light poles, a transformer, and sending power lines into the street.
The lights went out at about 11 a.m. Thursday when neighbors heard a giant boom.
National Grid said power was lost to 50 customers on Sunset Road, Betty Terrace, Cannon Rock Road, and portions of Den Quarry Road. But by midnight, crews had removed the tree and electricity was back on.
