A man who grew up in Revere was found dead in a Georgia apartment on July 15, according to a local media report.

Two roommates and a friend of Joseph Livolsi found him shot to death in a Decatur apartment hallway, according to the Dekalb County Police Department. The witnesses told police that had been in and out of the unit all day, but noticed items out of place when they returned home. They found Livolsi’s body in an upstairs hallway. He’d been shot in his ribs, chest and head, according to the police incident report.

Livolsi worked as a special effects technician in the motion picture industry with 42 film credits, according to Fox 5 in Atlanta and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He was set to start work on a new Godzilla movie filming in Georgia but never showed up, according to the FOX 5 report.
