LYNN– Police said a Malden woman kicked and bit two officers after a car crash on Saturday.

Denise Granville, of 130 Avon St., Malden, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a police officer and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Police said the officers were assaulted at approximately 5:17 p.m. Saturday after responding to a report of an erratic driver in the area of 300 Washington Street.

Both officers were treated at Union Hospital and released, Lynn Police Lt. John Scannell said.

He said police stopped Granville, who was leaving the scene of property damage in her car.

The 27-year-old woman was also charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, defacement, and resisting arrest.
