LYNN — Four people were arrested and a large amount of drugs, guns and fireworks were seized after a search warrant was executed at a Kirtland Street residence Thursday morning.
Lynn Police responded to a report of a man with weapons in the area of Broad and Green streets shortly after 8 p.m. last Wednesday. An investigation at the scene led to the recovery of a firearm, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
Police ran after the suspect, Elisha Davis, 23, of Lynn, but were unable to catch him, leading them to obtain a warrant for his arrest. A search warrant was also obtained for his address, 77 Kirtland St., and was executed the next day, with the assistance of the State Police Special Tactical Operations team, Kmiec said.
The search warrant resulted in the seizure of approximately 19 pounds of marijuana, cocaine, $1,027 in cash, two additional firearms, replica guns, cell phones and the arrests of two men — Davis and Cole Hanssen — and two women — Kimberly Hanssen and Brittney Weigand-Dion, Kmiec said.
The Kirtland Street residence is the listed address for all four people arrested.
Davis and Weigand-Dion, 19, were each charged with numerous firearm and drug offenses including firearm possession without a firearm identification card, defacing a firearm serial number, unlawful improper storage of a firearm, Class B drug possession, drug possession with intent to distribute, and unlawful fireworks possession.
Davis also faces warrant charging him with kidnapping, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and additional firearm offenses.
Cole Hanssen, 20, and Kimberly Hanssen, 41, were each charged with drug possession with intent to distribute, Class B drug possession, unlawful ammo possession without a firearm identification card and unlawful fireworks possession.
