LYNN — More than a dozen employees at C.L. Hauthaway & Sons Corp. sported Batman T-shirts last week in memory of their coworker and friend who died in July.
Dennis Bishop, 45, of Lynn, worked as a chemical operator at the company, which designs polyurethane polymers and compounded finishing materials, for nearly a decade before his death at the end of July.
His co-workers called him a jokester with a quick-witted sense of humor.
“Dennis loved the character Batman and even went as far as having his hard hat decaled with the Batman symbol,” said his co-worker, Doug Eaton. “He was a master at telling jokes, whether funny or not. It was appropriate that all of his co-workers decided to honor Dennis by wearing Batman shirts. He will be deeply missed.”
