The Lynn Tech boys soccer team continues to roll through its Commonwealth Athletic Conference schedule, as the Tigers defeated Greater Lowell, 5-0, on Thursday afternoon. The win puts Tech at 6-3-1 on the season.

“It was a beautiful game,” Tech coach Jeremy McKeen said. “Our guys continue to impress me. This looks like a state tournament team. Our defense is solid, our midfield plays well and our offense is working.”

Goal scorers were Geo Ramirez, who notched his third hat trick of the season, Edson Alas and Ashby Murphy.

“We’ve had about four beautiful games in a row where we’ve passed the ball really well and moved the ball really well,” McKeen said. “It’s been a joy to coach.”

In net, Edin Arreaga earned the shutout win.

“Edin did exactly what he was supposed to do,” McKeen said. “Greater Lowell was very aggressive and they shot the ball. Edin did a nice job.”

The Tigers will aim for another win on Tuesday when they host Chelsea.

“It was a hard-fought game,” Winthrop (2-7) coach Kyle Gagin said. “Beating a Division 1 team is a big accomplishment. Cory made a few big saves in the end and that kept us in the game.”

Winthrop’s back in action on Saturday against New Mission.

“It was a great game,” English coach Ed McNeil said. “We’re playing great defense but we’re struggling to score goals. This is the third game we’ve lost 1-0 this season.”

English (3-7) hosts Winthrop on Monday.

“It’s a difficult milestone to achieve,” Danvers coach Jimmy Hinchion said. “She’s been a great player, a wonderful playmaker. Hannah has been a great player to coach. It’s great for her and great for the team.”

Danvers (7-2) hosts Brookline on Saturday.
