LYNN — Guardian Healthcare’s Founder and CEO, Jose de la Rosa, is taking his mission of ensuring that members from underserved communities have fair access to health care to greater heights.
De la Rosa was just voted onto the Board of Overseers at Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston where he will serve on the Community Benefits Committee. His new role will help address health disparities and offer solutions to help local Boston communities who are currently struggling to obtain health care. Guardian Healthcare has the largest bilingual nursing staff in the Boston area and their new collaboration with Beth Israel will also help to raise the standard of care for non-English speaking patients.
“I am honored to be a member of the Board of Overseers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and look forward to using my experiences at Guardian Healthcare to advocate for the equal care of underserved populations,” de la Rosa said in a statement.
