LYNN — A Chestnut Street liquor store was robbed at gunpoint by a masked man Tuesday night.
Police responded to K&H Wine & Spirits, located at 348 Chestnut St., at 10 p.m. and learned that a 31-year-old male clerk had been robbed at gunpoint, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
The suspect, who was wearing a mask covering part of his face, came into the store, pointed a handgun at the clerk, went up to the counter and told the clerk to empty the cash register. The man grabbed the cash from the register and fled the store, Kmiec said.
The incident is under investigation.
