LYNN — Police arrested a 21-year-old Lynn woman in connection with a Nov. 3 armed robbery on Newhall Street.
Maria Banks was arrested on a warrant for an armed robbery charge on Wednesday.
A 23-year-old Lynn man told police that he was robbed at gunpoint by three men and a woman in the area of 6 Newhall St., Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
The victim told police he was outside smoking a cigarette and was robbed of a small amount of cash. The suspects fled following the robbery, Kmiec said.
Based on the statements of the victim and surveillance footage, officers were able to identify Banks as the female suspect from the robbery. Police were able to obtain a warrant through Lynn District Court on Monday and Banks was arrested two days later, Kmiec said.
There have been no other arrests connected to the robbery.
