LYNN — Linden Market has been robbed at gunpoint for the third time in the past month.
Police responded to a robbery at the 617 Summer St. convenience store shortly after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and learned that a masked man, who was also wearing a baseball cap and hoodie, had entered the store, pointed a handgun at the 53-year-old male clerk and demanded money, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
The clerk handed over cash from the register and the suspect fled the store, Kmiec said.
The incident is under investigation.
Linden Market with the same clerk on duty was also robbed at gunpoint last Tuesday night by a masked man.
The convenience store had also been robbed on Oct. 30 by a man wearing a black hooded coat who showed a handgun and demanded cash from the register.
