Sometimes it’s the little things that count. One single mother wants to make sure that her financial struggles don’t prevent her 11-year-old daughter from having something to look forward to on Christmas morning.
“I can’t afford to buy a gift for my daughter on Christmas Day, due to the fact that we just became homeless and I have no type of income at the moment,” the mother said. “I wouldn’t want my child to be the only kid without a Christmas gift even though Christmas is about much more.”
The mother says she’s in desperate need of assistance. She has asked Item Santa to help her ensure that her daughter has a memorable Christmas, and isn’t requesting much.
“I would appreciate it if you could please visit her with a gift on Christmas day,” she wrote.
Now in its 51st year, the Item Santa fund endeavors to make Christmas a little brighter for those among us who are less fortunate.
