SAUGUS — A 94-year-old Wakefield woman was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital Monday afternoon after a three-car crash snarled traffic on the Lynn Fells Parkway near Route 1.
State and Saugus Police, along with firefighters and an ambulance team, responded to the crash, which occurred in front of the Target on the Fellsway.
The 94-year-old sustained “incapacitating” injuries in the crash. She was driving a 2004 Toyota Camry with an 86-year-old female passenger. The two other cars involved were a 2010 Nissan Altima driven by a 46-year-old Lynn Man and a 2017 Toyota Camry driven by a 70-year-old man from Everett.
