LYNN — The Lynn Museum/LynnArts hosts a Holiday Open House at the Museum, 590 Washington St., on Tuesday, Dec. 19, between 2:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Open to the public and free, the afternoon and early evening features student carolers from Classical High School between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. and Shades of Gray, a Civil War-period band performing from 5-7 p.m.
The performance will help the Museum conclude artist Jeff Fioravanti’s “Vision Place of Souls” exhibit.
“Jeff’s show, on display since June, has received considerable attention in local media. His beautiful artwork is for sale with a portion of the proceeds going to the Lynn Museum/LynnArts,” said Lynn Museum/LynnArts Executive Director Drew Russo.
Russo thanked Antonio Morales and his family for sharing the family’s late 19th and early 20th century apothecary bottle collection, all excavated by hand, at Lynn locations and on display since the spring.
“Please join us for some holiday cheer, including light refreshments and a cash bar after 5 p.m., and to see these two wonderful exhibits before the close at the end of December,” Russo said.
