LYNN — A Market Street store was robbed by a masked man on Tuesday night.
Police responded to MetroPCS, located at 1 Market St., shortly after 7 p.m. and learned that a masked man had come into the store as it was about to close and demanded money from the cash register, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
After the 37-year-old female clerk opened the register, the suspect grabbed some cash and took off. No weapon was shown during the robbery, Kmiec said.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, who is about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black ski mask, Kmiec said.
The incident is under investigation.
