LYNN — A Chatham Street convenience store was robbed at knifepoint by a masked man on Friday night.
Police responded to the robbery at Sunrise Market at 353 Chatham St. shortly after 9 p.m. and learned the suspect had come into the store and brandished a knife toward the 46-year-old male clerk. The suspect reached over the counter, opened the register, took some cash and fled the store, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
The incident is under investigation.
Sunrise Market was robbed twice at knifepoint in October by a masked man.
