SWAMPSCOTT — Swampscott Police are attempting to identify the man pictured who is wanted for shoplifting North Face coats at Marshalls on Christmas Eve and again on Tuesday.

Both thefts involved coats that were worth more than $250.

The suspect was stopped outside Marshalls, located at 1005 Paradise Road, by Loss Prevention on Tuesday. He dropped the jackets and took off in a local cab, Swampscott Police Detective Ted Delano said.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to contact the Swampscott Police Crime Investigation Division at 781-595-1111.
