LYNN — A food delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint on Springvale Avenue Tuesday night.
The 54-year-old man told police he was in his car backing out of a driveway shortly before 8 p.m. when he was approached by a man who came up to the driver’s side door and pointed a gun at him and demanded his money, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
The suspect, who was wearing a ski mask, took off with a small amount of cash. The man told police he thought he almost hit a pedestrian and was robbed after he rolled down his window, Kmiec said.
The incident is under investigation.
