LYNN — A donut shop known for its deliciously unique creations will pop up at a local coffee shop on Saturday morning.
Land of a Thousand Hills of Lynn will sell a limited variety of six different avant garde donut creations brought in by Speakeasy Donuts. From 10 a.m. to noon, the pop-up donut shop will offer their Hedgie, Chocolate Peppermint, Malt Milkshake, Cereal Killer, Honey Glaze, and Spiced Sugar flavors.
The “Hedgie” is a donut made from scratch in the shape of an adorable hedgehog, with a blackberry placed right in the center. Although the pop-up donut shop has a variety of animal-shaped donuts, Hedgie is by far the fan favorite, according Wren Warren, one of Speakeasy’s owners.
Speakeasy Donuts is a licensed pop-up shop with their official donut-making kitchen located in Beverly. They customize their flavors for pop-up events and specialty orders only.
The various unique donut flavors offered for Saturday are to be paired with any of the specialty beverages sold by Land of a Thousand Hills.
