A three-car collision early Wednesday morning sent one person to the hospital, according to the Lynn Fire Department.

The accident occurred at 5:50 a.m. at the intersection of the Lynnway and the Commercial Street extension.

Deputy Fire Chief Stephen Archer said the crash involved a passenger car, tractor trailer, and a school van.

The female driver of the van was removed from the vehicle by firefighters. She was treated at the scene and taken to the North Shore Medical Center in Salem.

Archer said her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. Occupants and drivers of the other vehicles declined treatment, he said.
