LYNN — Two people were arrested on drug trafficking charges and about $5,000 worth of cocaine was seized after a search warrant was executed by Lynn Police Tuesday morning.
Alexsandra Abreu, 23, of 18 Union Place, was arrested and charged with trafficking a Class B drug, and drug possession to distribute a Class E drug.
Kenneth Niboh, 41, of 224 Washington St., was arrested and charged with possession to distribute a Class E drug, and trafficking a Class B drug.
Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said the arrests followed an investigation by the city’s Drug Task Force, and assistance was provided by other agencies.
“The end result was they did locate a couple of bags of cocaine,” said Kmiec.
One bag weighed about 8 grams and the other about 42 grams, adding up to a street value of about $5,000, he said. Several pills were also located during the search warrant, he said.
