Parking downtown may be a little hard to come by this week as a film crew takes up space around Central and Union squares.
This is something Lynners should be used to by now. Last Summer, residents were able to spot Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua around town as they shot scenes for the upcoming “Equalizer 2.” Other film shoots included “Joy,” “Wheel Man,” and “Detroit,” among others.
The roads won’t be closed, but drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes, according to police.
The no parking zones are as follows:
Tuesday, March 20 at 7 a.m. to Thursday, March 22 at 7 p.m.
- Central Square, on the even-numbered side, between Union and Munroe streets.
- Washington Street, on the odd-numbered side, from 517 Washington Street to Union Street.
Wednesday, March 21 at 5-11 a.m.
- Central Square, on the odd-numbered side, from 25 Central Square to Willow Street.
