LYNN — James W. McAllister of Peabody has been named home health aide manager for All Care Visiting Nurses Association’s Resources Division.

A registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Walden University, McAllister has worked in the healthcare industry for the last 14 years and brings a wealth of experience to his new position.

With a supervisory role as enrollment nurse manager at Element Care Pace in Lynn, and nursing positions at both Baldpate Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital in Georgetown and North Shore Medical Center in both Lynn and Salem, McAllister will use his exceptional clinical assessment skills to ensure quality care and seamless coordination while designing and implementing advanced training and professional in-service programs.

The home health aide department provides support to All Care hospice and private care patients and acts as the front lines of the home care plan from completing tasks such as household chores and person care, to providing companionship and peace of mind.

More than just care providers, home health aides act as the eyes and ears of the clinical team while establishing meaningful and trusting relationships with their patients.

“Jim’s experience is such a great fit for the All Care Resources team, and his excellent leadership skills will provide exceptional support to our home health care staff,” said All Care Resources Director Elaine Buckley.

Buckley said that under McAllister’s guidance, the home health aide department will continue to grow, allowing patients to receive the personalized care required to meet all their individual needs while maintaining the high quality of life that they deserve in the comfort of their own homes.

Founded in 1911 and based on Market Street, All Care is a Medicare/Medicaid-certified agency offering services of nurses, home health aides, specialists in geriatrics, oncology, diabetes, physical, occupational, and speech therapies as well as palliative care.
