LYNN – A Beyond Walls fundraising party will be held at Lynn Museum, 590 Washington St., Thursday from 6-10 p.m.
Al Wilson, founder and executive director of “Beyond Walls,” said there is no admission charge to attend the party, but a tax-deductible donation is suggested. One hundred percent of donations will go toward project costs.
This kick-off party will feature food and beverages from April’s Pub & Grill, Barton & Guestier, Bent Water Brewing Co., Brother’s Deli, Capitol Diner, Casa Lola, Charlie’s Junction, Enzo’s Pizzeria, John’s Roast Beef, Land of a Thousand Hills, Los Chamos, Nightshade, Old Tyme Italian Cuisine, Porthole Pub, Shortpath Distillery, Tacos Lupita and The Blue Ox.
Wilson said Beyond Walls is planning a second mural festival, August 6 to 19, which will feature new, renowned street artists from around the world as well as local talent.
An impact study by Webb Management Services commissioned by Beyond Walls and MassDevelopment showed that the 10-day international mural festival last July was attended by more than 5,000 Lynn residents and visitors and was an economic bonanza for many businesses.
