LYNN — Lynn Police seized about $54,000 worth of illegal drugs, including heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl, and arrested two residents on trafficking charges Wednesday.
Ramon Matos, 51, of 853 Western Ave. and Eneida Robles-Vasquez, 40, of 185 North Common St., were each arrested and charged with trafficking more than 36 grams of a Class B substance, more than 200 grams of a Class B substance, and more than 200 grams of a Class A substance.
About 272 grams of heroin was seized, which has an approximate street value of $27,200, said Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec. About 252 grams of cocaine, valued at $25,200, 16 grams of fentanyl, and $27,681 in cash was also seized.
“The arrests were the result of two search warrants executed with (Matos and Robles-Vasquez) as targets,” said Kmiec. “They were arrested together, in the same apartment.”
