Breaking and Entering
A report of a burglary/breaking and entering at 9:39 a.m. Friday on Rockaway Avenue. A caller reported never receiving a scheduled delivery from Instacart and that a J. Crew bag that was inside the door at the house was missing. The delivery company supervisor told the caller that their records showed the food was delivered. The caller later called police to report his wife found the stuff.
Complaints
A report of a pole down at 11:13 a.m. Saturday at Watson and Elm streets. Multiple callers reported a pole down, power outage and a blown transformer. Police reported it appeared the pole was rotted at the bottom and fell. There was no accident that caused it. Traffic was diverted as a result. A woman called to complain that she was detoured and then not given a direction to turn. She said it was very upsetting. Police explained to her that it was very early on in the incident and that officers were working on detours.
A woman called to reported she rents a spot from the Charter School and someone was parked in it at 4:21 p.m. Saturday on Lime Street. She was told to contact a representative from the school as police had no authority there.
