PEABODY – “Showstoppers,” a musical revue to benefit Peabody’s Black Box theater, will be held on May 19 at ArcWorks Community Art Center, 22 Foster St. The show features New York artists David Macaluso and Caitlin Burke performing Broadway favorites and the works of Gilbert and Sullivan.
The show runs from 7-8 p.m., with doors opening at 6:15. Tickets are $25, $22 for seniors and students with ID, and available at bit.ly/nearcshowstoppers or by calling 978-624-3080.
Opened just last month, Peabody’s Black Box represents a partnership between Northeast Arc, the city and area business and cultural organizations. Serving as an anchor of Peabody’s downtown cultural district, Peabody’s Black Box provides state-of-the-art space for theater, comedy, dance, film, music, poetry and other performances.
