SAUGUS — Everyone is invited to join motorcyclists who will make the “run for the 81” from Danvers to the Elks Lodge Saturday as part of a donation drive benefiting the homeless.
Riders and anyone else who wants to gather at the Elks for an afternoon of fun between noon and 4 p.m. are invited to bring new toiletries, socks, underwear and T-shirts that will be donated to area homeless shelters.
Riders will meet at 10 a.m. at Breakaway, 221 Newbury St., Danvers on Route 1 and ride at 11 a.m. to the Saugus Elks, 433 Main St. There is a $15 donation at the door for riders and all other attendees. The run will be held rain or shine.
