LYNN — A 25-year-old man is dead after a triple shooting on Lawton Avenue that left two others with serious injuries early Saturday morning.
Romel Danis, of Lynn, has been identified by authorities as the fatal shooting victim.
At approximately 2 a.m., Lynn Police were responding to a loud music complaint at a party when they heard gunshots around the corner, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s office.
In the area of 65 Lawton Ave., police found Danis dead and two other men with gunshot wounds. It’s not clear if the victims were at the party, authorities said.
The two men were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries — one of those men appears to have life-threatening injuries. Their names have not been released, authorities said.
The investigation is ongoing.
