In honor and memory of Dan deStefano, the Historical Society and the Library dedicate an Okame Cherry Tree on the lawn of the Nahant Public Library, where Dan served Nahant’s readers, researchers, authors, and lovers of Nahant as director for 22 years. In addition to serving on many town committees, Dan was a published writer, illustrator and artist as well as a husband, father, mentor, and friend.
