LYNN — The Lynn Water and Sewer Commission has been recognized for outstanding water quality by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Drinking Water Program. The commission, in partnership with Veolia, the contractor which provides wastewater treatment services, achieved one of the top scores among the large and medium community systems in the 2018 Public Water System Awards Program.
The commission was also recognized by the program in 2017 for its outstanding performance in going above and beyond meeting strict and changing compliance regulations and consistently providing best-in-class performance.
