Lynn Police and Fire responded to a 911 call at 199 Boston St. at approximately 6:18 p.m. for an unresponsive 2-year-old boy in a pool. The child was taken to Salem Hospital, but did not survive, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s office.
The boy lived at the Boston Street home.
Foul play does not appear to be a factor and the investigation is ongoing by Lynn and State Police.
