PEABODY — Friday the 13th will have less of the scaries this month as friends come together to fundraise for the late Molly Ramsay’s family.

In April, Ramsay died of complications while giving birth to twins Logan and Theresa. She leaves behind the twins, her three-year-old daughter Olivia, and her husband Brian. Even though the struggle of grief has bombarded the lives of her loved ones, they refuse to give up on her children and her husband.

After Ramsay’s close friends created an online donation page, it was rapidly spread across the internet, raising more than $44,000 to be used for all childcare needs and even an overnight nurse. Almost three months after her sudden death, the fundraising continues. An event will be held Friday, July 13 as a way to honor the late Lynner’s memory and raise more money to support the family that was left behind.

Tickets for the event are $25 and can be purchased online or at the door prior from 6 p.m. to midnight at the Holy Ghost Society, 20 Howley St., in Peabody. A cash bar, food donated from local establishments, basket raffles, karaoke, and music will be provided at the all ages fundraiser.
