LYNN — A Lynn man was caught red-handed while attempting to break into the 7-Eleven on Lewis Street early Tuesday morning.
After Lynn Police received a call of someone trying to break into the convenience store, Robert Frost, 59, of 119 Lewis St., was found with a bag full of cigarettes he was attempting to steal, according to Lt. Michael Kmiec. A witness saw Frost break into 210 Lewis St. around 2:58 a.m. and officers responded almost twenty minutes later.
Frost, who has an extensive criminal history, was charged with breaking and entering nighttime for felony, possession of a burglarious instrument, attempting to commit a crime, destruction of property with over $1,200 in damage, trespassing, habitual criminal offense, possession of a class E drug, possession of a class B drug and a common and notorious thief charge.
