LYNN — Food, cocktails, and the chance to win Red Sox tickets will help The Alumni & Friends of Lynn Classical High School beef up its scholarship fund.
This Saturday residents can enjoy their time at Tony’s Pub and Grill while helping the organization fundraise. The money will go toward their continuous efforts of helping deserving Classical students afford to go to college. A 50/50 raffle will be presented as well as the chance to win two sets of Red Sox tickets for the Sept. 11 game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Neighbors can enjoy some hot food and cold beverages while watching the Red Sox play the Yankees, all while contributing to future college students. This past June, the organization awarded 83 deserving students scholarships totaling just over $95,000.
The fundraiser will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 196 Franklin Street.
