LYNN — A 67-year-old Lynn woman was struck by a pickup truck while crossing the Lynnway in a motorized wheelchair Thursday afternoon.
The woman was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, State Police Trooper Paul Sullivan said.
The 26-year-old driver of the Ford F350, Reginaldo Perez Zacarias, of Lynn, was arrested on a warrant out on Lynn District Court and issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, Sullivan said.
Police responded to the crash at Lynnway and Shepard Street around 2:45 p.m.
The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.
