LYNN — The second annual Amigos de la Voz fair is taking over McManus Field on Sunday.
The all-day sports and recreational fair is the only one of its kind in the North Shore area. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., attendees can participate in a trolly tour, a soccer clinic for kids, and a softball tournament. Arts and crafts vendors, an array of foods from local businesses, and a community resource fair will also be available during the event.
Families and friends in the community are invited to participate or watch during the softball tournament and soccer match, with the Lynn Lions pitted against the Juventus from Revere. The resource fair, which lasts all day, is an area where different vendors provide literature about their businesses and services.
Those in attendance can enjoy performances from a number of different dance groups and academies, young vocalists, and a mariachi singer.
The fair is presented by Amigos de la Voz, a Spanish-language publication from Essex Media Group. A long list of local sponsors are behind it, making sure the event runs smoothly.
