To the Editor:
I am delighted to recommend Drew Russo to all my friends in Lynn and Nahant in his bid to secure a place in our Massachusetts General Court. I have known Drew since his freshman year at St. Mary’s High School.
Following college and two years of volunteer work in Detroit, he came to work at his alma mater and assisted us in development and outreach to alumni. I was privileged to preside at his wedding and consider him and his wife Patricia to be very special friends.
Drew is a mission-driven young man of high ideals and strong moral character. At this critical time in our nation’s history, he is the kind of person that we need in elective office. He represents the best that a new generation of public servants has to offer. The citizens of Lynn and Nahant have had a tradition of excellent representation in the State House. Drew’s command of the issues, natural ability to relate across ethnic and cultural lines, and a strong desire to serve will enable him to continue this proud tradition.
I hope that many of my friends will consider voting for Drew on Tuesday.
