A Lynn man in his 30s was shot several times in the chest at 1:29 a.m. Thursday at the corner of Western Avenue and Arlington Street.
Lt. Larry Wentzell said the man was airlifted from the ballfields behind English High School to Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.
