A parking violation was reported on Monday at 1:37 p.m. at Lakeview Drive. Caller said trucks parked on the street will cause a traffic problem when school children are dropped off. Officer reports trucks will be gone when school is out.

A report of suspicious activity at 8:47 a.m. Monday on Atlantic Avenue. A caller reported someone might be entering the home. The person was found on the third floor. Police reported the people were contractors on scene.
Theft
A report of stolen property at 9:27 a.m. Monday on Gregory Street. A caller reported she had been working on a blue patio bench and someone stole it overnight. The caller later reported that a neighbor may have witnessed two people carrying her bench.
A caller reported at 12:24 p.m. Monday on Baldwin Road that a staff member had money taken from her wallet last Thursday.
PEABODY
Summons
Cody M. Murphy, 31, of 62 Thompson St., Apt. 2, Amesbury, was issued a summons on Monday at 7:21 p.m. following a fight at 2 Dooling Circle and charged with assault and battery to collect a loan, and assault and battery on a person over 60.
Cindy E. DeFranzo, 43, of 348 Colburn Ave., Dracut, was issued a summons on Monday at 9:30 p.m. following a hit and run crash at 121 Bartholomew St. and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.

On Monday at 7:22 a.m. there was a report of a motor vehicle crash at 91 Endicott and 137 Lowell streets; at 7:19 p.m. Saturday at 7-Eleven at 100 Lynn St.
A report of a minor motor vehicle crash at 8:31 a.m. Monday at 711 Lowell St. and 36 Patricia Road. One of the operators called back to say they have exchanged papers and were on their way.
Animal Control
Caller left message on Monday at 11:43 a.m. from 5 Park St. reporting his dog, Bianca, was missing. Description matches that of a dog collected by a Good Samaritan. Animal Control officer said message was left for the owner to call back as soon as possible.
On Monday at 12:17 p.m. caller from 123 Lynnfield St. reported that the Shih Tzu he is babysitting escaped the house. Animal Control officer spoke to the finder, Gina, and said it was OK for the officer to provide the dog’s sitter with her telephone number.

Caller reported her daughter’s car at 1 Summit Terrace on Monday at 11:01 a.m. was broken into but nothing was stolen.
Report of an attempted burglary at 1:44 p.m. Sunday at 111 Main St. An attempted breaking and entering to the front door was reported.

Peabody Veterans Memorial High School reported a 15-year-old boy with dark hair, wearing a green sweatshirt walked away from the school on Monday at 12:04 p.m. Officer reports juvenile was found and returned to school.
